When the Slik first arrived in orbit around Bourak they found a barely hospitable new world. Close to its star and with a majority of the continents straddling the tropical latitudes, it was uncomfortably hot. Undeterred in the face of a challenge, the Haqqislamites set about turning this new world into a home.
