Born into a slave family, Love travelled toDodgeCity followingemancipation to work as a cattle drover then onto Arizona where she briefly partnered with Pat Garrett and Bill Masterson. Love, a veteran cowgirl and bandit fighter, now works cattle in the Dakota Territory.
