Although it does not excel in any particular way, the Armadillo remains a mainstay in Militias, Planetary Defense Forces and Mercenary Companies. Its low cost and robust design make it easy to acquire and easy to maintain. The sizable Troop Bay allows for flexibility and its complement of four machine guns, two facing forward and one to either side, allow it to support the carried troopers but dont pose a significant threat to armored targets.
